Hacker Pschorr Oktoberfest Märzen is a 5.8% ABV Oktoberfest beer from Hacker Pschorr, one of Munich’s original six breweries. With a brewing history dating back to 1417, Hacker Pschorr is steeped in Bavarian tradition, and its original site is now home to the Altes Hackerhaus, a celebrated restaurant where their beers can still be enjoyed. Märzen-style lagers, such as this one, were first brewed stronger in March to withstand the summer months, when brewing was banned due to fire risks, a practice that gave rise to the iconic Oktoberfest style. Hacker Pschorr Oktoberfest Märzen remains regarded as one of the finest examples of this festive beer
